The Southeastern Greek Community is known throughout campus for its hard work and dedication to all aspects of the university. By becoming a member of a sorority, you gain not only a lifetime of sisterhood, but are exposed to unlimited opportunities for personal growth and achievement.
Scholarship
Sorority women at Southeastern take pride in their education. Most chapters hold study halls throughout the semester to encourage academic excellence. Each national organization offers multiple scholarships to its members. As part of a sorority at Southeastern, you will always have a group of women who constantly encourage you to make the grade!

Service
Each sorority is an active service organization. Every year, the sororities complete numerous community service and philanthropic activities. Sororities are known throughout the community for their ability to give back to others. Being in a sorority at Southeastern allows you the opportunity to help others and better the community.

Southeastern sororities are involved in many national and local service organizations, including: Habitat for Humanity, City of Hammond Inclusive League, Children’s Miracle Network, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research.

The women of Southeastern’s Greek Community develop valuable leadersip skill. Each organization encourages its members to grow and learn.
